"I've spent over 20 years in the room where leadership decisions get made. Now I help others navigate it."

About Ash P Mishra

I'm a leadership coach working with senior executives and high-potential managers who are ready to step up — and want a partner who genuinely understands what that means.

My coaching is grounded in two decades of working at the most senior levels of global organisations — Ericsson, HSBC, Johnson & Johnson, and GE — across Europe and Asia. I've sat with CEOs, built leadership pipelines for thousands of people, and designed the frameworks that help organisations identify who's ready for what's next. I know how leadership really works. Not the theory — the reality.

That's the perspective I bring into every coaching conversation.

Career Background

Over 20 years, I've held global leadership roles across some of the world's most complex organisations — building and running talent, succession, and leadership development functions at scale.

Along the way I've been recognised as the best Talent Management function across Asia-Pacific, partnered with INSEAD and Harvard Business School on executive development, and published widely on leadership, performance, and the future of work.

Why I Coach

Across my career, I've had a front-row seat to what makes leaders succeed — and what gets in their way. I've designed succession frameworks for executive pipelines, run talent reviews with C-suite teams, and watched leaders at every level navigate the pressure of stepping into bigger roles.

What I noticed, again and again, is that the technical capability is rarely the issue. What holds people back is almost always something harder to name — how they see themselves, how others see them, the behaviours that served them well at one level but stop working at the next.

I coach because I want to be the partner I wish more leaders had — someone who steps into their shoes, reflects back what they can't see themselves, and helps them move forward with clarity and confidence. Not a comfortable conversation. An honest one.

Coaching Philosophy

  • I start by understanding your world — the pressures, the politics, the expectations. You can't coach what you don't understand.ption text goes here

  • I'll tell you what I see — including the things that are hard to hear. That's where the real shifts happen.

  • Every conversation ends with something concrete. Clarity is only useful when it leads somewhere.

  • I'm not a neutral observer. I'm genuinely invested in your success — and I'll stay with you through the difficult moments, not just the breakthroughs.
